My 2001 acura cls 3.2 automatic 6 speed just recently started something new ive had it for about 3 months and its always surging especially while going up hills and recently my rpms are reaching up to a 6 and i know thats not right at all can anyone tell me if they have had the problem or what it most likely is?

 

egr valve?
or anything that causes a loss of vacuum

 

I i dont think its either of those and i dont here any vacumes off it has recently started a minor tick that goes away wile accelerating on the drivers side more tward the fire wall idk if that has anything to do with it

 

Wait is it an automatic or a 6 speed...?

 

if it's idling at 6K there's some kind of vacuum leak
how you gonna ask for suggestions and then brush em off?? lol

Says its an automatic 6 speed in the book so i guess thats what it is its slap shift too

 

Sounds like you have a bad transmission is what it sounds like.

 

Im not brushing them off lol im fer sure gonna check em im just saying cause im kinda thinking its something to do with the fuel are there two fuel filters in these because ive had a couple people tell me that

 

I was kinda thinking that but hoping not thats a very exspensive job

 

yeah, after re-reading the Original Post, going uphill and 6K? sounds like transmission slip

 

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but it is..

The surging is also a problem, albeit unrelated and the least important at this point.

Also it's either 6 Speed manual or 5 speed automatic for the CL's.

 

Checked all my hoses and stuff today im about to just sell it for a low price and say screw it i love this car but i dont have the money for it now my headlights are out and thats a good 220$ also the drive 5 on my dash has been blinking every so often
