Car won't go past 2k rpm ned help engine code po366 cam semsor

Last nigt I washed my car and I guess something got wet but not sure. As soon as I started it it seemed rough and the light came on. But drove home just fine. Went to the store and after about 20 miles it started messing up right when it hit 2k rpm. Then this moring it was fine. I got stuck in traffic and it started up again. If anybody has any idea of what I shold look at please give me a tip!

I also realized that my alternator and ac tensioner is noisy. Maybe the battery hasn't been charging right?

Scan it. Check for codes, I would start there first.

I guess that's my only option huh? Driving me nuts. I just bought new brakes new axles amd tons more for it. One thing after another. Piece of shit! Tired of it.... I'd hate to buy another one and it get messed up too. I guess the car wash totaled this car. And when I take it to get it washed again will the same thing happen again!? This hasn't happened to any of yall?

I sure hope it's not the crankshaft position sensor. The 6 speed sensor is 550 bucks!!!! Just hope it's the cam sensor. I guess I'm going to need to take apart my timing belt. This really blows. I guess I don't need yall help. Was just hoping something simple could be done. But it seems I will need to take apart the entire passenger side engine covers.

We have an intermittent open in the wiring of our 2004 Odyssey. It's basically the exact same thing. When it gets wet it throws the same code. I always have to clear the codes by pulling the ECU fuse. It goes into limp mode. I suspect there's a crack in the wire insulation somewhere. It used to be really bad. It would happen every other day. I tugged at the harness on the crank sensor behind the crank pulley and it must have improved things. There's a round clip that snaps the harness to the crank sensor. I had to unclip that and leave it hang. I can post screenshots of the service manual's steps for each code tomorrow.

That's what I like to read Johnboy! To do what your saying will I need to just take the plastic engine cover off? The power steering pump and the intake manifold also look to be in the way. I'm gonna go see if I can put se electrical tape around it. Still. I have no idea how water got up to the top of the engine what a fluke. I didn't even spray it in there. Oh where would the ecu fuse be? Thanks in advance!

Wow! Thanks! I just looked at acuraoparts.com and it's totally not 500 bucks anymore! Totally used to be. I guess they were low stock or something. Wierd... There's a few parts that are still high for the 6 speed, for example, the rear 6 speed motor mount. Almost 600 dollars after shipping. Are you kidding me!

the crank sensor is at the back of the engine on the bottom. If your looking through the passengers wheel well, it'll be just to the left of the crank pulley.

I found it last night. I wiggled it a little and this morning almost made it the whole way to work without a problem.
Usually it only makes it half way before it starts to limp. Today I'd say I made it 3/4 of the way. Not sure if it heloped or not. But I noticed that the little grommet for the wheel speed sensor is pretty much lined up with the crank sensor assembly. It looks like the degreaser from the self wash went through that hole and sprayed right onto the connector I could see the green stuff near it. So that's gotta be it. Now I'm doubting it's the cam sensor. Wierd the cam sensor code is throwing and not the crank sensor? I'm going to jack it up after work and take it off and clean it.
