Radio noise with running lights on

I’m having an issue with my 2002 Acura CL that is proving hard to diagnose. My radio makes a buzzing sound when I turn on the running lights with the engine running. It doesn’t seem to change when I rev the engine, and flashing the highbeams does not make radio noise either. Also, maybe unrelated, but a new issue I’ve had is twice my radio just randomly turned off while driving. And another time, my whole electrical system shut down when I turned off my car (no interior lights, power locks, etc). Everything turned back on when I set the key to on though. I’m including a link to a video of the noise so you can better see what I’m talking about. Thanks!

I couldn't tell the difference on the video. Noise is sometimes an indicator of a bad ground, missing ground or aftermarket amplifier with power wires running too near the signal wires.

On the ahutting off randomly, I have noticed that my aftermarket radio will sometimes shut off and come back on. It has also shut off when turning the key from on to acc, such as when parking. I haven't bothered diagnosing mine as it's rare and more of an incovenience.

That said, there is a switched ignition 12v, constant 12v and ground that powers the radio. I would suggest removing the radio and checking those 3 wires in acc and on positions with a multimeter or powerprobe, not a test light. The powerprobe can tell you if you have ground. voltage and the volts output is shown as well.

One final note is the electronic load detector is connected with a 3wire plug in the under engine fuse box, it is involved in sensing load and varying the alternator output. I belive it sets a code that may or may not trigger the chk eng light. only reason i know is I've accidently forgot to hook it back up before and had a low idle with the ac on.
