problem with instrument cluster fuse
Ok, i have been trying to install footwell lighting in my 2001 cl and tapping into the instrument cluster fuse so they turn on with the headlights
1- for some reason the leds wont light up
2- i took out the instrument cluster fuse and the instrument cluster still lights up! Ive been taking out the #9 fuse[second column 3rd one down, 9.5 amp]
i have no idea why its like this and im assuming the lightings not working when i turn on the headlights because its the wrong fuse but that doesnt seem to be the case..help?

there is a positive and negetive to them
also try the pulling the tail light fuse instead (not totally sure if it is that one)
the headlight and taillight fuse are in the main fusebox though right? i was looking to use the passenger or driver side fusebox mainly because its easier to wire, i wouldnt know how/where to push the wire inside the cabin from the main fusebox. I'm probably going to buy a add-a-circuit tomorrow and try this again im just confused because the gauges and instrument cluster still lit up when i took the fuse out
