I still can't seem to figure this out, and after searching and searching I still can't seem to get a straight answer. My headlight went out, took it to Acura. They said I need not just a bulb, but an "inverter" and it was $700. So I was like f-ck that I'll buy the stuff on the side.

I picked up a set of 6000K D2S bulbs and then a CL ignitor from a guy on here. Is this all that I need? Thanks!

 

How much did the ignitor cost? Is it the same as the "inverter" or some call it a "ballast"
