HID headlight correlation with passenger mirror
HID headlight correlation with passenger mirror
I noticed my driver side HID light was not working. Initially I thought it was the bulb, fuse, relay, etc. I switched all of these parts to the passenger side positions and they all worked so they were elimintaed as being the problem. I checked the wires that go from the inverter and plugs into the back of the HID bulb. After comparing the driver side with the passenger I noticed the driver side was lacking what look like metal teeth that probably conduct electricity to the bulb, which was found on the working passenger side. I tried to switch them, but the passenger side is not easily accessible like th driver side. After reading all of the posts on here I am beginning to wonder if it is the inverter. I also noticed that when my car is in reverse the passenger mirror no longer automatically adjusts downward. I do not know if this is strictly coincidental or if there is a correlation. I opened the fuse box located between the passenger door and the dash, but did not find a fuse that pertained to the mirror or headlight. Does anyone know if there could be a correlation or an easy fix to either problem or am I going to have to buy the $300 inverter? Much Love!
