Question OEM Spoiler Harness

So I took my spoiler off and accidentally broke off the male connector piece cause I got frustrated. Long story.

This piece (that I broke) hooks into the existing female connector piece right above the DVD tray box. This wire is the one used to activate the spoiler brake light.

I went to the Acura parts department and the guy working there said I had to purchase the entire harness for $108 bucks or some bull like that. He said there is no connector piece sold separately. Is this true guys? Can someone help me please? Anyone know where and if I can get this piece by itself? Thanks fellas.

Here are some pics to show you what Im talking about.

This is the harness (with the missing connector that I broke off) that runs inside the spoiler, into the car, and above the DVD tray box.

This is the receiving female connector that plugs into the piece that I need.

Heres what the harness looks like plugged into the female piece without the connector that I need.

Sorry about the pic quality. Camera phone is all I got . Any of your guys input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Very simple. Get 2 splice connectors & just splice the wires into the 3rd brake light wires. All after market spoilers are setup this way. All 3 of my CL's were. Solid & secure connection.
There's only 2 wires. 1 is ground 1 is power. Just swap them if it doesn't work the first time.

Thanks fuzzy, I appreciate your feedback. However, forgive my ignorance since I am not electrically inclined what so ever, I have no idea what you just said.
