I have now had my transmission rebuilt 3 times I am now fed up with having to constantly put money into this car. I have been told that a slipping tranny will also kill your MPG and performance. So this is taking a toll on my pocket. So my question is are there any places or someone in California that will do the swap for a reasonable price? The shop Ive been taking it to gives me this puzzled look when i mention this to them. Thanks in advance.

 

I'd post your request in the Cali regional thread. They bolt right up so most shops should be able to do the swap without a problem.
