Question Need Your Help on Easy Questions

Hi guys,

I bought an '02 CL-Type S yesterday and joined the forum today.

Calipers
After assessing the car at the Acura dealership they said I need to replace the calipers. Do you guys know of places that sell OEM parts at more competitive pricing than the dealership?
From a stop to a go the brakes remain stuck...

Are OEM Brakes Necessary?
My car has brand new aftermarket brake pads and rotors I think, are the OEM necessary?

Driving with Parking Break On..
I'm not used to the pb being on the floor so I forgot about it and drove for about 8 miles with it on, anywhere from 40 to 60 miles an hour - Should I inspect something in case I damaged it?

Thanks for your help . I look forward in helping when you have questions.

Welcome!

May want to check out the FAQ at the top of the forum. This should answer most any question you have about your CLS.

Depends, if it seems ok now no strange nosies, then you should be ok. You may have worn down the parking shoes a bit. May need to adjust the parking brake. This instructions are in the FAQ as well.
