I have a factory alarm and recently when i activate the alarm the doors lock. But the lights do not flash and there is no beep like there used to be. I lost my manual so I could not look it up and I am over the warranty so I do not want to go to the dealer.

When you activate the alarm, of course the doors are going to lock. Am I missing something? You activate the alarm by pressing the lock button.

 

If you arm the alarm and the doors does lock but the flashing light and beep doesn't work,sounds like the Automate alarm is not working or fuse or check the connection under the driver side, there should be a black box about 3x3. The flashing light and beep comes from the Automate alarm trigger.
