Anyone that can help I would greatly, greatly appreciate it. My CL's tranny just started slipping on me real bad. If I try to run her anything past 2nd gear she just revs and doesn't want to go anywhere and even in 2nd she is slipping real bad. If I sit at a light for to long it wont move at all until I shut the car off and reset it. Just looking for a decent price on a new tranny so I can get her fixed! HELP!!!!!!

 

There are a couple really good threads here. Do a search and you'll get lots of info on replacing the tranny with a newer model. My 01 CL has a 05 Honda Odyssey tranny now. Yes, it fits and works.

 

This is the info I need from Whomever can provide it. Seems that 2nd Gen Autos were just a write off by Honda, and I need to know, from which later model vehicles I can purchase a used tranny, and not have to worry that IT'S gonna go any minute 2. Are the problems all internal with these x-mssns, or ??? Fargin shame.

 

The problems are related to the 3rd gear clutch pack overheating due to lubrication problems.
