my trunk button doesnt work anymore but i can open the trunk with the button on the remote. any ideas? fuse? wires?

 

Check inside your glove box. When you open it there is a switch to the left to lock the trunk.

 

 

yeah its switched to on. it still wont work.. the previous owner says it doesnt work either.

 

maybe try the glove box switch in the other position, just for shit and giggles,

if that still does not work, it almost sounds like that switch is not connected on the door panel, so the panel might have to come off to reconnect the switch (could be from doing other work inside the door, when the panel was removed previously, like say a window regulator was replaced or such)

 

If someone changed the cabin filter, the glove box switch may not have been hooked back up.

 

does not have to be disconnected for the cabin air filter
