I'm not sure what is going on, either my car has recently decided that it's gay and wants to lisp or I've got a problem somewhere. Recently I've noticed a slight whistling sound coming when I have the gas on usually around 2000 RPM (higher up and the engine is loud enough that I can't hear it) I noticed it for the first time a couple of weeks ago while on the freeway. While freeway driving I'm just slightly on and off the accelerator constantly to maintain my speed and every time I'm on it whistles. I first thought it was just the intake (I have an icebox) but to test it out I shifted into neutral and reved up a little and heard no sound. I only hear it when I'm in gear (any gear) about 2000-3000 RPM.

Any Ideas?
