I have an Acura CL-S 6mt. I have been throwing two check engine lights. P0170 and P0172 (running rich). I thought it could be the MAP sensor causing the problem. It is missing the piece at the bottom. I have attached a picture.

Do you think this could be why I am throwing codes. I had my o2 sensors tested and my fuel pressure. Those were fine. Let me know. Thanks in advance

I still am throwing one of the codes. P0172 rich in bank 1. I threw a P0107 Low MAP voltage code once, but it turned off, I think it may have been a fluke, but I have yet to figure out my problem.

BTW, the MAP sensor is not supposed to have that bottom piece, I saw a picture of a new one for our car.

 

I think we just need new map sensors. Because I didnt have this problem then I cleaned it with this sensor cleaner then bam, there was my code and problem

 

Yeah it might be, I need to get it tested. Are you throwing the same P0172 rich bank 1 code?

 

I know its PO172 But I dont know about if its bank one. I think Im just gonna order it. Its 58 bucks shipped. And thats how much a diognostic is at acura. So Im just gonna wing it.
