I was recently doing some work on my 97' CL and i disconnected the negitive, and now my stereo is locked, i have tried a few things i found on this site but i am still un-able to get the serial number from the stereo to get the code. So if anybody has any suggestions please help me out.

 

you have to remove the radio and the serial number is on the bottom bring the radio to the dealer with your ownership and thay will give it to you

 

All you have to do is turn the radio off and then hold the #1 and the #6 prestet while turning the radio on and it will give you a four digit code and then another four digits and that is you serial number.

 

my 4 digit code was with my manual in the nice little black booklet the dealer game me. Im talkin RIGHT THERE on a business card. look for that before you go and try to dismantle the damn thing.

if it locks itself out, you have to leave your radio on for 2 hours without touching it. so get that code right, the first time.

that year does not show the code you need to remove it or find the card with the 5 digit number
