For some reason everytime I start my car I get this knock coming from the ride hand side of the engine bay. Now I know what most of you might think, ENGINE MOUNT, nope, just have it change along w/ my 100K tune-up. Any ideas on what else it can be?

 

Oh & today when I was leaving work, the noise was louder than before & the car trembled for acouple of seconds @ the light till I took off.

 

Spark plugs?

 

You know I never thought if that. I have a new set in the trunk I've never put on cause I head it's a bitch to do. The CL's have a lot more stuff than my V6 Accord had by the rear valve cover. Thanks I'll look in that this weekend.

 

Coil packs or plugs?

Did the check engine light come on?
Have someone use and odb tester to see if it threw a code.

It still could be the engine mount. You're ASS U M ING the tech tightened everything back up.

 

I'm pretty sure he did. I mean the shop I took it to a the same I've been taking my V6 Accord to till the time of it's death, RIP. So I don't know. & no engine light came on, so that was weird too. I have an OBD II computer reader & nothing came up.

 

My car does this, too. Did it at 33k miles is doing it now at 54k. Engine mounts have been changed, no CELs.
