Is there a way I can see what code they CEL is throwing?

Is there a way to reset the CEL (and Service light)?

What exactlu do you got on? CEL - MIL - orange triangle and check engine or no? Be more percise. MIL light alone apears only when you turn off tractin control, MIL or CEL ( whatever you want to call it ) and check engine, indicates some sort of problem - resetable and readable only by obd scanner or HDS unit

 

it's the CEL not MIL sorry

i just got car smogged and believe it can be something to do with that, the manual says that it can be emissions control system

 

Did they open fuel cap while car was running? Sometimes these morons do that for some reason and it will throw in EVAP code. If you do not have scanner just go to any AutoZone - they will clear it for you

Take the car to Autozone and have them read the code for free. They should also be able to reset the CEL for you.
