so my acura cl 2001 driver side headlight went out after replacing the bulb i called acura and they told me it was my inverter but they want 550+ i was wondering what kind of after market product i should get.: annoyed:

If it's just the ballast, then you can get a new one or set for way less than $550

 

acura oem parts has them for $340 or so and you can install it yourself

 

Try this site: www.theretrofitsource.com for ballast a lot less than what the dealer wants. I have replaced mine with Morimoto 3Five ballast & they worked very good.
