Angry Idling Issues after Tune Up

Okay Guys & Gals

I recently finished doing somewhat of a moderate tune up to my CT SC Cl-S 6spd w 92k on the clock. I changed out plugs, coil packs, IACV w/gasket, EGR valve w/gasket, oil change/filter, cleaned CT air filter and re-oiled, cleaned TB, changed wipers and got new battery. I have connected all sensors back, SC pulley tension is corrrect and IMRC/Actuator is working correctly. For some reason now I am getting the up and down idling and bucking car syndrome when I let off the throttle. My OBD 2 code machine is telling me that is IACV/P0505. I refilled some of the coolant that spilled when removing the TB and old IACV. I have open up the AC system to heat cycle to remove any possible air pockets that may have arise from removing the coolant lines. I dont see any leaks at valve.

How in the world can it be the IACV when its brand new? Any ideas? Please help

BTW, When I started the car it was low on gas with re-fuel light on but not on the red line. I went to the gas station and fueled up with 93octane. Full tank and still doing bucking and up and down idling dance. Confused at this point!!

Thanks

Okay, solved the problem. The plug to the IACV was not fully plugged in. Also there was a vacuum hose disconnect off the rear valve cover. This has solved my problem and the car now pulls like a mofo. Don't understand how the car was running with the plugs that I pulled out. None of the plugs had a tip, all were just worn down.

Hey!!!...

I have the same problem, my car is idleing wierd after i changed my spark plugs. I did look and found a vacuum hose that was not connected to anything. I followed it back to the right side of the car if your standing infront of it. I CAN NOT find where it goes. There is one on top of the other when you follow them. One of them plugs into the north wall of the car, I JUST CANT FIND WHERE THE OTHER ONE GOES. could you help me out, i think we had the same problem.

On the back of the manifold by the firewall there are like 4 vacuum hoses and one sensor. One about 1/2" size is actually in the left corner and 3 others 2 x 1/4 and one 1/2 are on the back right corner with the sensor actually when i do remove intake manifold the big one usually drops down to the rear mount area so sometimes its hard to find it. Then there is one more that is connected to the throttle body.

ok i followed the hoses because one runs on top of the other coming from the driver fender side...one goes into the firewall (which is connected) and the other one is the one i can find where it goes. I had just changed my back 3 spark plugs and noticed it. I bought NGK spark plugs after 159,000 miles without changing them. does it connect to the lottle motor thing that i took off when i changed the back 3 plugs?

No, the IMRC motor doesnt have any vacuum lines.

That vacuum line should go to one of the ports on the rear of the manifold.

By any chance did you disconnect the hose that goes from PCV to IM on the right side. This is in front of the actuator/IMRC. I dont recall seeing any vacuum hose going over to the right side of the car. You should have two to three vacum hoses that go into the IM on the left side. If you trace them back, they go back to a sensor and one of them to the brake boost black unit. Hopefully this helps you out.

Then having the IMRC connected will not cause you any problems.
