Hello,

I was wondering how to install the supercharger belt on my 01 CL Automatic. Are there specific things to do besides unbolt/loosen the old belt and put the new one on? Specific lb torque specs or anything like that?

Overall just how to do it.

From the Comptech instructions:

Step #15 Blower Belt Installation:
• Loosen the blower tensioner bracket bolts (B) and move the tensioner and pulley rearward and up.
• Install blower drive belt. The tensioner pulley will
tension on back (smooth) side of drive belt. (See
Diagram)
• Belt tension can be set with moderate pressure on a
19mm end wrench on the flats on the tensioner pulley
plate (A). Once belt tension is set, torque the
bolts (B) to 15ft-lbs.
• After about 100 miles of driving you will need
to recheck the belt tension. You should check
the belt tension at every oil change.
