Wondering if anyone has bumped (raised) their hood? Is it rice or nice?

The only advantage I can see is that im sure it vents out the heat in the engine bay a lot, and it probably covers your wipers where they're no longer visable giving it a cleaner look............but I dont know if the gap is a cleaner look.
