Weird.... Idk what it could be.

SeaFoam in the gas tank wouldn't hurt though. Might fix it, or it might be completely unrelated.

I think there's a good number of AZ members here. Here's the link to the regionals thread for the southwest US area:
https://acurazine.com/forums/southwest-317/

Strange problem though, never heard of someone with that problem on this thread. May it had something to do with the EVAP system since the system has to pressurize the tank and stuff.

Are you "topping off?"

When the gas stops pumping, THAT'S IT!
Don't push it to round up the next dollar, or try to squeeze a few more drops in.

it is evap valve fault but not the purge valve . It is close to purge valve right on the firewall just look for rubber line with green cap on it. This valve is stuck open .... and it will not cause misfires

is it only when you fill up with gas or when you get out of the car for only a couple minutes and try to start it? mine did this if i would go in the store for a minute on a hot day. it turned out to be my main relay. i heated the solder points on the relay and it works perfect now.

just wondering if the problem was evap valve...i've been having this issue for the past 2 months...right after i fill up it doensn't start. At first, the check engine code said misfire and now my check engine light is back on and want to get this fixed right away.

Purge valve or evap valve? anyone have a part number or what the cost of repair could be?

thanks

called the acura dealer and they say they don't know what i mean by evap valve (???)

Can anyone offer any more info on this subject? My next direction maybe replacing the purge valve ($72) and then maybe the fuel pressure regulator ($160) if i can't get enough info here on acurazine.

EVAP canister has a valve, which they should know about. However, that may or may not be the problem. I would recommend paying them to diagnose the issue first.

You might end up throwing parts at it, with no result. Find the problem first, don't just guess.
