Help with my headlight bulb

My driver side headlight went out this late afternoon.
and when I turn on my normal headlight,,, the high beam indicator in the dash was fainted. (a little bit but not completely on)
when I switch to high beam, the indicator goes off...
anyone any clue what happened to my driver side headlight??

Thanks in advance

Most likely the ballast. Swap the bulbs left to right & see if it happens. If it does then it's the ballast. If it switches to the passenger side then it's the bulbs. Get bulbs in pairs or the color will not match.

no, If I remember correctly, just a Philips screwdriver... and disconnect the battery.

There are 3 philips screws. Lose em up a little, twist the bulb and its out. No need to disconnect batt, just make sure lights are off -25kv is there you might get electricuted a little. If you want to be on safe side 2 20a fuses are in pass side under hood box. Have fun but mostlikely its ballast problem and that requires bumper removal!
