HELP ! My car wont go more then 5500 rpm

HELP ! My car wont go more then 5500 rpm
I just bought a CL type s 6 speed a week ago , i dont know much about this cars but on the first day i pull full throtle on the highway to see what this car is all about it wont go more then 5500 rpm is if like the ecu is cutting fuel at 5500 rpm ... weird right ? its sopuse to go to 7k rpm

pls if anyone knows what's going on let me know ..

is good , i just did an oil change today in the local honda dealer !!

im thinking is maybe the ECU

It sounds like your ecu is in limp mode. Do you have a CEL?

no it dosent have a cel.. very weird...

Change your air filter. If the old one is clogged it will give that problem.

i have an intake .. but yea is a lil dirty i need to clean it ..im also changing the spark plugs this weekend .. hope that fixes the problem .!! : )

There may be a bad crank sensor or speed sensor.
