There are 3 things you need to check: linkage for heater valve, heater valve, servo motor. Heater valve is located in engine compartment, between firewal and the engine, you should see 2 hoses going through firewall an linkage wire close to it - attached to valve. Have somebody look at it and turn temperature knob back an forth - with egnition key on. Valve should move, if it doesnt it might be :disconnected linkage, servo motor (under passenger left side heater assembly) or electronics itself. If the valve moves and no heat it might be as simple as clip holding the linkage - valves are unlikely to break. You can open it manualy to verify that heater is not clogged and valve works - just take down the linkage and turn it!

Exactly #5 controls, heater valve. I would disconnect linkage rod and than check if it works. I ve seen linkage get rusted inside.

Be sure to check that you are not just low on coolant first.

My valve regularly binds up from sitting in the same position too long, but usually if I turn the dial up all the way, it will free up...
