Head light OUT

I need some help I have a 2003 Acura CL and the head light is out. I had a 2001 CL and the same problem occured. I know that the ballast on these cars are horrible. My question is if the ballast is bad does the fuse blow or do i have another problem. Need some help.

I have the same problem in my 03 cl but both of my head lights go out on occasion, both bulbs are like new and either both go out or one goes out... orrr one stays on and the other one flickers. when i had it looked at i was told it was my headlight igniter? i have no clue what this is neither does anyone ive talked to but i was told it is a $800 this is way to much for me and i was wondering if anyone knows anything about this

Ballast, replace them

For the other the fuse may blow when the ballast goes out. Some have had to replace the fuse after installing new a ballast

I have an 03 CL, left headlight won't lite unless the lights have been on for a couple of minutes, then turning the headlight switch on and off a few times. Is the ballast mounted to the bottom of the assembly? And how can I get the left side out w/ out taking to much apart?

Do you think it's best to get after-market HID's. I had 3 sets of HID's on my 2001 and i it was fine. But they weren't bright enough.

Keep the OEM Hids. Try to find used ballast on Ebay or spend the bucks and try oemacuraparts.com
