Front Wheel Hub Assembly?

Recently I put new slotted/drilled brakes and pads in the front. After I did this I noticed a scraping sound coming from my wheels. It was amplified when it echoed off a wall or something. The noise did not stop when braking either. I talked with a mechanic buddy of mine and he said it was most likely my front hubs that needed to be replaced. He said to buy the assembly.

Is there an aftermarket assembly you guys suggest? Links would be great.

Thx

You've probably bent dust shield or it is rusted somewhere and scraping against rotor . Check that first, I do not think it is a faulty hub

Im pretty sure we (my buddy) checked that? He then asked how long I needed new brakes I told him at least a few months maybe longer (shame on me). He then said that the vibration which was bad probably ruined the hubs....One note on that, I never heard this sound prior to do doing the brakes? I would think you would...Thoughts?

wait what?

Front hubs don't go bad, the bearings do (they are replacable as you press out the old one and press in the new one) and you would notice it as you would hear the roaring when you are driving......
