Dashboard lights flashing
I have a 2001 CL Type S with a problem with my dashboard lights when I am driving the car. The lights that turn on while I am driving are the VSA, Triangle with the exclamation mark and the SRS one. When that happens my RPM gauge and Speedometer gauge drop down to 0 and so does the fuel needle. The radio and navigation also flicker and shutdown when this happens.
Once it restores power I suppose, everything comes back on within seconds and all is fine again. The crazy thing is that the car does not shut off when this happens. The check engine light does not come on during this glitch or anything. I have checked all the fuses and all are good. I check my battery terminals and look good as well. The battery was replaced 6 months ago, so the battery is new. There are no codes or any other lights that stay on. I had the car idling and disconnected the battery to see if the car would shut off and see if it was the alternator, but the car stays on.
What could the problem be? Any thoughts or tips?

Mechanically speaking, I don't know my ass from a hole in the ground and I am regurgitating what I have seen before.
Your best bet would be to wait for someone who knows to give you a better answer.
TL;DR
Free bump for you.
Just double checked the lights that come on are: VSA, SRS, ABS and Triangle with !.
Still no CEL light at all. Last time I took it to get serviced, they mentioned about getting my spark plugs replaced. Could that cause this issue? I would be shocked if it does, cuz I would think it would at least through me a CEL light.

Spark plugs has nothing to do with this. Take it into your local Acura/Honda dealership, they have a special code reader that will spit out diagnostic codes and you can go from there.
i was going through the threads and found that it could be my ignition switch. a mechanic told me that it was my ignition switch and ignition lock, but i dont think its my ignition lock. i have no problems with the key or it turning at all. so hopefully its just the ignition switch.
any additional info from the forum would help as well... thanks...
