Front Axle Hub Removal?

So my car is up on jack stands because the ghetto tire shop I went to managed to strip 2 wheel studs on one wheel and break one stud on another wheel... And then they tried to tell me that it was messed up from before... eh whatever. Anyways, I replaced the studs on the back wheel but I'm stuck with the front wheel...

Wheel removed
Brake caliper removed
Brake rotor removed
36mm Axle Nut removed (by this time I'm realizing that its gonna be a bigger job than i expected)

Now I can't remove the axle hub to get the broken stud out (because there isn't enough clearance from behind.) I got a slide-hammer and tried that without any luck.

Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated

Thanks!

The hub is pressed on so you need a hub press tool in order to seperate it from the bearing. What I did was pull the knuckle off the car and did it on the vice with this tool http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/OTC-H...em110223471253
A simple wheel stud replacement can get expensive on these cars. I end up replacing the wheel bearings while I was at it since there's a chance of wrecking a bearing when pressing it.
