so this isnt my car but my buddys older brother has an 02 non type s and apparently, even when the car is shut off, his fan will continue to spin. he said it did it a bunch of times and even happened for about an hour the other day. car isnt overheating or anything. this ever happen to anyone?

 

Air in the system, or most likely a bad fan switch or fan motor.
Search around the site it's a issue that has come up a few times. Should be posts about cost to fix.

 

Tell him to change his coolant too.

 

This happened to my 2002 CL type S. It was the relay in the fuse box underneath the hood.

 

Happens to me too on my 97 cl
