D2R replacement

Anyone have trouble replacing the stock d2r bulb with aftermarket ones? My Passenger side is being difficult to push in and turning to lock it in place...any help/tips/advice? For sone odd reason my passenger connector is red and driver side is black. Is that normal? Low beams are also flickering and not staying on( mostly driver side) bad ballast???

Sounds like the ballast. What do mean turn in and lock?

The D2R bulbs just slide in, then you push the spring lock down and thats it. The only thing on the bulb that you turn is the igniter.

HID flickering usually means a blown 20A fuse (experienced this on my 03 CL). The OEM connector is usually black. After market ballast (like Morimotos) have red & black connector. Make sure the spring is in the open position & swung all the way back before inserting the new bulb.

The ignitor requires the back of the bulb with the two prongs to twist in

I'll try the fuse and take pics
