Comptech ESM CLS/s2000??

Is there a difference between the ESM used for the CLS 6speed and one for an s2000?

I didn't know if the only difference in an ESM was between AUTO and MANUAL cars or if each vehicle is different.

I have one that came off of an s2000 readily available thats why I am asking!

didn't see this post. From the research i've done, it doesn't matter what ESM you have. It hides the boost from the ECU. You need to ensure the ESM is set to the proper voltage for the 6speed CL-S, which is written on the comptech supercharger checklist i believe. I don't have the instructions for how to install the ESM, but there is a way to adjust it by hooking up a voltmeter and turning a screw i think. ***something like that.

yeah you use a small eyeglasses flat screwdriver in the side of the box to adjust the voltage, there are two holes on the top of the box where all the writing is where you can poke the voltmeter prongs through and make contact.

It's all the same though

They don't use the ESM in general anymore at Comptech/CT-Engneering though.
