The CEL on my 2003 Acura CL-S (MT w/ 75k miles) came on and the code was P0172 (System Too Rich). I took it to the dealership and they did two fuel induction cleans. It seems to be running more smoothly when it's idling, than it was before they injected the cleaner.

I only use premium Amoco gas, so I don't believe the gas caused the problem. The mechanic told me I may not be driving it hard enough, and that's why the carbon deposits built up in the fuel line. Is that likely? It doesn't tell you in the manual these cars must be driven hard... maybe it's just assumed they will be? I hardly ever redline it. I generally shift between 4 and 5k RPMS. Should I be giving it some more ponies?
