I think the only issue you'll really take a chance on having when doing this is possibly picking up settled particles that sit at the bottom of your tank. Other than that I don't really see anything bad about it.

I don't see any danger of anything on the CL/TL. The filter is in the tank attached directly to the pump. Nothing is getting through that without some serious problem arising, & by that time you will notice it.
I run the car till the light comes on then get gas. That's what the point of the low fuel light is.
The whole crap at the bottom of the tank thing is a problem that no longer should be of any concern within that last 15 years. Gas has gotten better, gas tank are plastic, & fuel systems are much improved & cleaner.

Why would you? It's been calculated & your not saving any great amount of $ by cheaping out on gas.

But to answer your question the ECU will detune the engine to accept the lower octane gas. You will see reduced performance, & reduced gas mileage.

Technically some cars fuel pumps are cooled by the gas being in there, so it could be bad for the fuel pump. I am not sure if thats the case with the Acura.

Not to mention where do some of these people who say this think the fuel pick up is any ways? Its sure not at teh top of the tank.

Ive been running mine to the low fuel light for the last 225k miles now with no issue

eh, the gas intake is at the bottom of the tank anyways, as stated. I also go by the fact of if i run it low every time, your not allowing too much sediment to build up. I just know that i have 3 gallons of gas once the gas light turns on, and plan accordingly.
