So its a really hot day and I had to drive about 60 mile and 50 percent of that was city, so stop and go shit.

So now when I push my clutch in, a little after half way it just like pops forward kinda like theres is an air pocket or something and you and here a ping when its quiet enough when you push the way in. Sorry for the on going sentence. Anyone ever encounter this?

What could be the problem?

It's more than likely your tranny engaging in gear and you just noticed the sound of it.
