check engine light blinking for a minute then goes away???

Ok so I took my car to the shop to get the timing belt, water pump, etc replaced before going turbo. I got my car back and when I take off from first and punch it, the check engine light starts to blink for about a minute or so. then it turns off. Now i also have a crap load of wheel hop while doing it also. Could the vibration from the wheel hop be setting off some type of knock sensor??? If I punch it from third or any gear where it doesnt burn out, then its fine. Im just worried that my timing may be off. Any ideas???

Its normal for 6 speed when you loose traction when you push it hard. Its nothing to worry about. Get better tires that will grip better. It happens to me when its wet and brake it on 1st or second. Its normal. Ecu read that as its missfire but its not.

Happened to me a couple of nights ago, i punched it in the first gear, just peeled off the whole way and the cel started blinking, so i shut the car off and restarted it. The cel stayed on, then i just rested the ecu so it went away. should've checked it.

Normal. The wheel hop & loss of traction, tricks the ECU into thinking it's misfiring. So it flashes those codes for a few seconds, then goes away. Most times these are not stored & are lost when you turn the car off. So scanning it won't do anything.
As stated, ease off the line, get better tires, or lower your front tire pressure.
