car studder

i have a 2001 cls when im accelarating at 3000 rpm usually 3 the car will start to studder i dont think its the tranny im leaning towards the fact that i have hr sport springs with 18 wheels and i think cause i never put the full coilover or matched the shocks and struts to the car that it maybe hop from the springs.

Could be axles, cv joints, plugs, coilpack. I guess no CEL? In what gear does it normally happen?

You know the tranny is covered for 7yr/100k right? (I think that's about 160k in km)? They should also pay for the engine mount, since it was the bucking of the defective tranny that broke it. (When mine went, it broke two mounts.)

My stock 2001 3.2CL does the same thing. at low speeds and RPMs it studders a little when switching from 1st to 2nd gear. Myu recomondation is take it to Acura and have them diagnos it for $85 and if it is a problem with the tranny its warrantied for 100,000 miles. good luck. I will let you know when i get mine fixed.

they shouldnt charge you to diagnose the problem alls i did was take the mechanic for a test drive and knew once he felt it that it was the tranny. anyway good luck
