Can I replace regular CL transmission with a Type S one

Can I replace regular CL transmission with a Type S one

I have a regular CL.
I was wondering if I can replace the transmission with a type-S one.
If u guys know anything please let me know.

They are the same IIRC.

Make sure you use the TypeS blinker fluid too


Seriously, as mentioned, the 5AT trannys are the same for TLP and TypeS. Are you referring to the 6sp manual tranny in the TypeS?

I called the acura dealership..they said that they are not the same...
Im kinda confused right now..

The Type S tranny has the same problems as the CL-P tranny. I know...I'm on my 3rd one.
