This may have already been covered, but I thought it might be handy if it hadn't. I bought a cheap ebay CAI not realizing it was for the automatic. I was surprised to see how much different the 6mt intake setup was compared to the auto. To get it to fit, all it took was a 4" section of DIY intake kit piping from Autozone and an extra hose coupling. Pretty simple and a lot cheaper than the AEM kit made for the 6mt.

 

Nice! Yeah, CAIs are a little overpriced IMO. Great that you got it to work.

 

Yeah the lack of the VSA unit on the 6-speed is where the difference is.
