A/C Blowing hot air only!

i recently bought an '03 CL-s and its hot here in NY so i had no reason to turn the dial to heat. the ac was working fine and cold as heck too. However a few days ago it got a little chilly and i turned the dial to heat without turning the heater on. And now its hot out and my car wont blow cold air anymore! When the A/C is on 60 its still blows really hot air and i can hear a click whenever i move the dial back and forth. HELP!

Okay I have the same exact problem with the same symptoms. Did you get it fixed? I think it's the actuator motor under the dash and to the right of the console. I've also read that it could be a frozen cable to the heater control valve on the heater hose in the engine compartment. In my case the cable is free, but there may be a problem with the motor that moves the cable. What have you learned? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, I'm new to acurazine, and I'm a mechanic. And I have changed the actuator many times before on many cars, try to take it out and move the levers by your hand and see if that fixes the problem. Sorry my memory failed me after so many beers, but I think this actuator controls both the blend door and the coolant valve.

Good luck

I'm back on the road again. The heat and A/C have been repaired. It was the actuator motor It was easy to install, just make sure the motor lever is slotted into the two levers on the duct, The actuator motor controls the doors on the duct and the cable that operates the valve on the heater in the engine compartment. Fadi81 your help was invaluable, thanks for your help.
