Bose stereo Problem
Hi guys,
I had the speakers on one side of my car stop working. I took the door speaker off and changed it with no help. When I talked to a stereo shop, they informed me that with the Bose system, it is probably the amplifier. I have looked under the back deck, but didn't see anything. Does anyone know where the amp is?? When I took the door speaker off, there was no amp so I have to assume there is only one amp. Thanks
Paul

The amp is in the trunk behind the passenger wheel well. Pull back the trunk lining behind the passenger tail light and where the jack is. It's a small black metal box about 5"x8".

Hey guys, I found the problem, and an interesting one it was!! I changed out the amp and it didn't help any. I got in the trunk and found that the ground wire had come off the speaker!! When I put it back on, everything started to work!! Now I don't have stock speakers, I have pioneer and used slide on connectors. Just something to keep in mind!!
By the way I do have that amp for sale.....
