my friend is selling his 93 honda accord and it has a optima yellow top battery. i wanted to take it out and put it in my 03 CL would it work better then my stock battery even though its a smaller battery and keep in mind i have 1600 watt system in my trunk.

 

I have one in my 01 CL and it works great. I had to take out the Battery Box to install it with some minor adjustments but it's in there and it has been a solid battery ever since. I have a high power stereo as well and so far the yellow top works better than stock (It keeps long bass notes better by supplying consistant power to the Bass Amp).
I am having a charging system issue right now though, but it's not the battery. I just put in a stock battery and I am still having the same problem. I got the yellow top tested and its perfect after 2 years of use with a high power stereo.
