Auto windows not working

Hello guys,

I just finished fixing my door panel by the control section, great DIY on here! The problem I have now that I did not have before I took the door panel off is the window switches work, but the automatic down and up do not work. You can still feel the click when it goes into the auto section, but window only will go up and down if you are holding the switch. Any thoughts???

roll the window up then hold the down even after the window is down without letting up and do the same by rolling the window up and holding the switch. sounds stupid but I had the same problem and supposedly it resets the reguator

Thanks for the help, but I am not clear on what you did. Are you saying that roll the window up, and when it gets to the top hold the button after it is already up? If so, how long after? Do the same for window down also, correct?

Yeah it actually tells you to do this in the manual if the battery is disconnected etc.
