Assistance removing Acura symbols

Ok so I decided to remove my A C U R A AND 3.2CL sybols from the rear of the car I got the A and the adhesive off except for an outline and got the C and the 3.2CL symbols off but not the adhesive. I had to syop due to incoming rain, but I was wondering if there was a better way since I have to wait till tomorrow anyways...I have an adhesive remove Called GooGone Spray Gel and I used fishing line to pull it off. With that I had to spray the adhesive and then use a razor blade to get as much off with out hitting the paint and the I just sprayed and scrubbed. Takes a while, but it still leaves an out line. Any advice????

Oh and I sure there is another post for this, but I am lazy

I've had good luck with goo-gone (but just the liquid stuff in the regular bottle) but usually we used a blow dryer to heat up the glue before we did fishing line (friends tahoe, maxima and half bro's chrystler) then after we got the badges off we rubbed off as much of the glue as possible (while still occasionally heating it up with the blow dryer) then we used goo- gone, not too much on the tahoe or chrystler but on the maxima we had to use a ton of it.

It left an outline just as you mentioned, but we eventually got it perfect using a combination of more goo-gone, some alcohol, water, cleaner wax and bug & tar remover (not all at once). Just be sure to wax the area after your done.

i had to use a clay bar to get the outline completely off. the googone and wd-40 got it mostly off, but in the right light you could still see an outline. good luck.

Heat is definitely your friend in getting the letters and adhesive off. 106 degrees here today so all you would need to do is park it outside if you were here.

Thanks for the help finally, got it off. Looks sick Bug and Tar remover and the claybar worked real well. Now the only problem is my trunk is shinier then the rest of my car, looks like I will be detailing it tomorrow.
