now my only question is whats the average cost on a rebuild incase i come across motor problems

if i were to get the above said car my plans would involve getting a c/t s/c eventually but i believe a rebuild would be in order.

^you're better off BUYING that car for 3500 and keeping it to modify.

because you have no experience, you seem to be thinking the hard way.
why make your 01 into what the 03 is, when you can start off with the 03.

p.s. you wont need an engine rebuild with the 03, it looks to be perfect.
and forget about the supercharger!! lol

 

in other words; you would be a dummy to transfer all those items to your 01 when the 03 is an awesome start already.

 

that's what im planning on doing if things go according to plan but what im wondering is whats is the average cost parts and labor needed to go into a 3.5 build preferebly a j35a8 or would that even be compatible with the 03 cl s six speed?

^but, you havent even got the 03 six speed yet...you'll need to hold your horses and acutally get the six speed.
then, see if you want to modify that six speed further.
