I have a 04 TL also and checked the temp on it from the vent and it was down to 40 degrees so I think there must be a problem with the comp.Anyone bought one lately, dand where is the best place to get one.

Sorry I cant help with the troubleshooting of the a/c system, but check out RockAuto.com for parts too. They have pretty good prices on some of the stuff.
