Bought an acura cl type s 2001(automatic) 193,000km . The only problem is that 3rd gear revs high till 5 then changes to 4th gear. People tell me that usually these cars wont hava a problem on the transmission, although it could be one of the sensors from the shifting box or oil change from the shifting box as well. i would appreciate your comments finding out what couls it be. Thanks guys

 

Whoever told you that the auto transmission won't be a problem on these cars doesn't know much about these cars lol

As for the tranny issue, did you get any info about past service history when you bought the car?

 

I am from windsor ! all i got from the car history was e tests and safety's but the car has never been in accidents.
