I bought a 2003 cl a few months ago. 97k now. There was a small vibration on the right side when accelerating and turning. A friend of mine told me it was a half shaft and I was going to replace them this weekend.

Just went to get some lunch and my car is over steering really bad. I don't think I can drive it home right now. Did I break a tie rod??? Not sure what else I need to buy. If anyone could help me it would be much appreciated. I can buy all the parts at once atleast.

Ok, so I am telling a co-worker about my car and someone comes in telling me how they were slipping around on the same roads too....hmmmm....they were driving a boxster,,,but I think my problem is slick roads and I had my half shafts on my mind.

After lowering my car...I had really bad vibrations from the passenger side of the car. It was annoying...it was like a "shimmy" or wobble when accelerating and a lot worse when turning right. Changed the half shaft and problem is gone. I'm a 3G TL, but same design I'm sure.
