Howdy all just purchased a 2001 Type S with 200k

So far I have replaced all motor and trans mounts, they were a mess one was broken ! Both headlights (one was out) swaybar endlinks and swaybar bushings (it sounded like a taxicab)

Now I get a check engine light driving home from the mechanic .. I drove the car before I purchased it, after I purchased it and after it came out of the mechanic .. no check engine light

anyway I believe the code was TCC solenoid... from my little research online it said to anticipate a trans replacement

if this is the case any recommendations where to get it done reasonably and correctly in the tri state area (is that possible)

CEL caused by a lot of things - Try to put an OBD reader and see if it throws a code

 

I went to the mechanic he said TCC solenoid erased the code and said " see if it comes back" I'll try to get the code again tonight at the zone or from my neighbor who has a code reader
