Where exactly is the 'air filter' located? (No the cabin air filters) I'm looking into buying a K&N Performance air filter, but I'm not sure where it is located to swap em out....

Uh...

I guess I was there at some point. It's to the right of the battery. It will be enclosed in a black box that you will have to open. Take out the old filter, and drop in the new one.

Trigun- For your reference, the air filter is inside of the air cleaner box. This air cleaner box is depicted as ref #1 in this diagram: 2001 CL Type-S Air Cleaner diagram
